Laminaria Trial, UK

 

 

 

 

 

A documentary looking at the feasibility of cultivating the seaweed, Laminaria, as a source of biomass for renewable energy production. A trial was conducted to study whether Laminaria plants would attach and grow from an artificial rig. The trial was developed with the support of PD Ports, in the Tees Estuary, UK.
